For the eleventh consecutive year, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly newspaper has released its annual list of 15 "Up & Coming Lawyers " -- Massachusetts lawyers who have been members of the bar for 10 years or fewer, but who have already distinguished themselves in some manner and appear poised for even greater accomplishments. One of the 15 named was Parker Scheer Partner, Susan M. Bourque, who represents victims of negligence including victims of medical malpractice.
According to the announcement, Lawyers Weekly received stacks of nominations for "Up & Coming Lawyers," which were described as truly impressive. While that response made the selection process very difficult, it also means that the state has a terrific crop of lawyers for us to salute this year and in the years to come.
Attorney Bourque joined Parker Scheer in 2000 as a student intern, and was named a partner in the firm in 2006. Attorney Bourque has also been named a Massachusetts "Rising Star" for the past three consecutive years by the publishers of Boston Magazine.
